Nathan Knight was born in Ocala, Florida but his family moved to Stuart in 2002.  Knight has one brother and three sisters.  His sisters all attend dance class and perform in dance recitals.  The whole family enjoys traveling to Jamaica where Knight’s parents were born.  Knight actually attended high school in Jamaica at a boarding school for five years.  After that, Knight attended Martin County High School where he graduated in 2005.

Knight belonged to the art club at Martin County High School and enjoys drawing and painting in his spare time.  He learned art from his mother, who is also a painter.

Knight ran track and played soccer at MCHS.  He was a regional semifinalist in the 400 meters in 2004.  He was named captain of his high school soccer team in 2005.  Knight also played club ball for the last two years with Treasure Coast United under Paul Gibbons, Director of Coerver Coaching for the Southeast.  The team was a factor in several regionally important soccer tournaments like The Norcross Cup and the Tampa Sun Bowl.

Knight plans on majoring in early childhood education at Brewton-Parker College and hopes to become an art teacher after graduating from college.
