McAllister Men
Constituency:
Male Alumni that want to show respect and appreciation to the women of Brewton-Parker that have impacted their lives; mothers, sisters, daughters, sweethearts, wives and friends.
Goal:
Our goal is to raise $100,000.00 to assist in the renovation of McAllister Hall, the oldest women’s dormitory on campus.
Strategy:
Our strategy is to identify 250 key givers that will commit to $450.00 each over 3 years.
We will begin the campaign in February with a mailer and solicitation of stories. We will include 3 stories that will lead to an appreciation of McAllister.
We will give an update on the progress during Alumni Weekend. It is hoped that we will have identified 125 of the partners by that time.
A press-release will accompany this announcement.
The final 125 will be announced on Friday May 11th for Mother’s Day.
A press-release will announce the successful conclusion of the project.
These contributors will be recognized at the ribbon-cutting of the renovated facility with a sundial in the courtyard. There will be a plaque accompanying that says, “For making our worlds brighter…thank you.”
