Report on Alumni Weekend 2007
WE DID IT!!!
Do you remember our goals for this year's event...10 & 10?
We were shooting for
10 thousand hits on our website
and a
10 percent increase in attendance.
The numbers are in and they are great!
11,474 hits and a 30 percent increase in attendance.
There were 445 Alumni and Friends taking part in our 2007 celebration.
It was a complete weekend of activities and we had lots of fun!
Check out the photos below.

Guess who was first on the scene

The weather was perfect
OK, this one is a little scary
Check out more photos after Hiddie's postcard.

Thank you all ...
All of the wonderful singers and accompanists who participated in
Alumni Weekend 2007.
We had a nice increase in attendance from last year. I am proud that our choir participation exceeded the ten percent increase goal that was set. You are all so wonderfully talented and you share your gifts so selflessly. I am proud to call you mine.
Next year Alumni Weekend may be the biggest alumni event in our history. We are hoping that the dedication of the Hildegard Stanley Music Center will occur on that Saturday. I have already committed the alumni choir to be a part of that dedication.
Our next get together will be May 12, graduation at 10 am. Dan Parker from my first year at BPC and I will be recognized by the college and Board of Trustees with honorary doctorates, Doctor of Humane Letters!! Please join us on that day, maybe a "mini-reunion"!!
As always "May God hold you in the palm of His hand"
"Until we meet again..."
With love,

The spring edition of The Lamp will be going out in early May. You should look for it in your mailbox around graduation week.
Graduation is My 12th this year.
If you are not on our mailing list let us hear from you as soon as you can. We want you included!

Speaking of graduation, there is a new feature this year.
All members of the Half Century Club are invited to come and "walk" with the graduates this year.
It should be an impressive sight. Those that are new grads walking with those that graduated at least fifty years ago. If you are a Half Century Club member and you want to participate let the Alumni Office know as soon as possible. We have to get you fitted for your cap and gown!

Don't forget the McAllister Appreciation Campaign. We are counting on our Alumni for this one.
