Mission
The
mission of the Office of College Advancement is to enhance
the excellence of Brewton-Parker College by raising philanthropic
support. The Office focuses on gifts from individuals and
non-competitive grants from foundations, corporations, and
other charitable organizations.
The
Office of College Advancement supports priorities of Brewton-Parker
College by:
- serving
as gift stewards, i.e., regularly informing individual,
foundation, and corporate donors of the financial status
and use of their donated funds
- working
with faculty members and others to gain a better understanding
of their specific funding needs
- researching
the practices and preferences of prospective donors, including
individuals, corporations, and foundations
- providing
support services in the preparation, review, submission
of proposals
- serving
as a liaison between Brewton-Parker College and private
foundations and corporations
- cultivating
and soliciting individuals, foundations and companies
for major gifts and private non-competitive grants
- promoting
the programs of Brewton-Parker College to external audiences,
including alumni, organizations and friends
