It is with great joy that I announce the new editor in chief of Oracle, Rebecca Giddens. I feel the new hardworking editor and wonderful staff will continue the progress of Oracle magazine after my graduation. I will continue to contribute my energy and efforts to support the arts at Brewton-Parker College in hopes that the value of art will continue to grow in the hearts of the students as well as in the programs that our school supports. I have enjoyed working with Oracle supporters and staff more than words can express. We all came together with a great love for the arts and produced three excellent issues revealing Brewton-Parker College’s talent. The number of talented writers and artists have greatly increased since last year. We achieved a complete sell out this past Fall issue, and I am confident that this magazine will do the same for many years to come. From its very birth Oracle was meant to reveal hidden knowledge. Talents and knowledge that were once hidden are finally shared among our writers, artists, and readers. Students are able to express themselves whether it flows through an essay, short story, poem, photography, or visual art. I am truly thankful for all the students that have contributed as well as those that have supported us by buying the magazine. Most of all, I am thankful for the experience of working with others that also love the arts.
