Young Writers Scholarship Information

     Participants of each workshop will produce a text based on the lecture and information provided by the professor. These works will be judged by Brewton-Parker Arts & Letters Faculty. The First Place winner in each catagory will be offered an $8,000 academic scholarship delivered in the amount of $1,000 per semester. The Second Place winner in each catagory will be offered a $6,000 academic scholarship over four years.

     Scholarship eligibility encludes the following requirements:

  1. Student must attend Brewton-Parker College
  2. Student must pursue an Arts & Letters Major
  3. Student must maintain an ongoing 3.0 GPA

   If some scholarships are not accepted they remain avalible for other students who meet the requirements. The Arts & Letters Faculty of Brewton-Parker College are authorized to make offers depending on merit.
