                              Division of Arts & Letters

The Division of Arts & Letters supports the Brewton-Parker mission as a community of intellectual inquiry under Christian sponsorship. Accordingly, the division challenges students to address the analytical, historical, cultural, and philosophic foundations of their disciplines, to think critically and creatively, to act with ethical and aesthetic awareness, and to communicate effectively in a free and open exchange of ideas. In addition, the division encourages scholarly, artistic, and creative activities inside and outside the classroom that promote the expansion of knowledge.
