Senior Theses

Division of Arts and Letters

The Senior Thesis is a culmination of years of study and preperation for the entrance into a larger world. No other single academic event symbolizes a genuine capstone achievment like the research, study, and writing of these serious, thoughtful essays. The libral arts tradition, grounded in philosophy and contemplative inquiry, invites students to prepare for a life of service and accomplishment by encouraging joy in learning. True knowledge remains a relative concept subject to openmindedness, curiosity, and the courage to explore the unknown. The quality of courage displayed by these scholars accentuates the long liberal arts tradition at Brewton-Parker College's inivitation to life-long learning.
