Brewton-Parker College's Lady Barons celebrate a goal by Patrice Rose, No. 6, a freshman defender from Trinidad, in the GACC's opening round of tournaments. The Lady Barons defeated Southern Wesleyan 4-0 in the opening round to advance to play AUM.

Award presentations recognize Lady Baron athletic and academic prowess.
Brewton-Parker College's soccer team finished its season by advancing to the second round of season ending Georgia-Alabama-Caroline Conference tournament, where award presentations recognized the season's performances.
Lady Baron coach Shela Fabri said that two members of the team are All-Academic Team, with three named as All-Conference.
Lisa Cozzarin and Tabitha Barrett are part of this year's GACC All-Academic Team.
Cozzarin, a junior striker from Guelph, Canada, has a 3.35 grade point average. Barrett, a sophomore midfielder from Oxford, Ga., maintains a GPA of 3.55.
GACC All-Conference awards went to Lisa Cozzarin, Kelly Mosley and Patricia Rose.
Co-captains Cozzarin and Kelly Mosley, who both play at midfield positions, were honored for this season's field performances.
Mosley, a sophomore midfielder from Appling, Ga., helped guide the team to this year's successes.
All-Conference recognition also went to Rose, a freshman defender from Maloney Gardens, Trinidad.
