#6 David Alvara

Sophomore David Alvara comes to Brewton-Parker from Waycross, where his mother works as a secretary and his father is retired.  He has one brother who plays soccer for Thomas University. 

The Alvara family has a tradition of going out together for dinner and a movie every Sunday night.  Prior to living in Waycross, the family lived in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Alvara attended Ware County High School in Waycross where he played football as well as four years of varsity soccer.   He made first team all-region his junior and senior years. 

At Brewton-Parker, Alvara is majoring in sports and fitness.  He plans to continue his education and become certified as a physical therapist.
