Kristi Jenkins also brings an impressive soccer resume to the Lady Barons. Jenkins was named MVP of the women’s soccer team at Lamar County High School in 2004 and team captain in 2005. She has played four years of varsity high school soccer.
Jenkins’ soccer career started at age five when she began playing recreational soccer. She progressed into club soccer when her family lived in Maryland, then joined the Griffin Excel Soccer Club when her family moved to Georgia.
Jenkins was born in Baltimore, Maryland, her parents moved to Georgia in 2001 where her mom is currently working as an accountant and her father is an education minister. She has one sister who is 12 years old and plays soccer. Her family enjoys trips to the beach, especially the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Aside from soccer she was also a member of her high school swim team and ran track.
At Brewton-Parker she will major in Christianity, her goal is to become a Youth Minister.
