Mail During School Breaks

Temporary Breaks:

We do not forward mail during Thanksgiving and spring break. We will forward First Class mail until one week before the spring semester begins. Letters and packages arriving via common carrier will be held until your return.

Summer Break:

Mail received over the summer break is handled in the following manner:

  • All First Class mail will be forwarded to the address on record.
  • Third Class ("junk") mail is not eligible for forwarding and is discarded.
  • Any packages arriving by common carrier will have a forwarding label affixed and be returned to sender.
  • All periodicals (newspapers, magazines, and similar publications) will be discarded, as they cannot be forwarded.
  • Be sure to contact the publisher 4–6 weeks before the end of the semester to permit uninterrupted service (change of address form).
  • CDs from music clubs will have your home address put on them and returned to the club.

Leaving Permanently?

If you are leaving Brewton-Parker College permanently and are not returning to the address presently on file, please complete the change of address form.

We will not forward mail to another address without a written change of address form. We cannot forward mail from the U.S. to a foreign address.
