The Brewton-Parker College Education Division is a nationally accredited four year teacher education unit accepting students in Early Childhood and Middle Grades teacher education programs. Caring, qualified, and dedicated instructors guide students on the pathways from theory to practice.

The Brewton-Parker College (BPC) Teacher Education program welcomes both traditional and non-traditional students who wish to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education

or Middle Grades Education.  While the major courses of study are presented in a hybrid format which includes face-to-face, synchronous, and asynchronous class time, core classes are

presented in a traditional format.

The Education Division at Brewton-Parker College is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), 2010 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036; phone (202) 466-7496. This accreditation covers initial degrees in Early Childhood Education and Middle Grades Education. NCATE is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit programs for the preparation of teachers and other professional school personnel.

The mission of Brewton-Parker College, a Georgia Baptist college, is to develop the whole student through the application
of Biblically-centered truth to a liberal arts curriculum in a community of shared Christian values.
