Welcome to Brewton-Parker College Winter Term (or Intersession).
The courses offered during this term are the same SACS-accredited courses offered during a regular semester. These courses will transfer to most colleges and universities since BPC is a regionally accredited institution. These classes are delivered in a compact 4-week format, completely online. These courses are supported by real instructors that you can interact with “live” online during biweekly office hours as well as through e-mail.
Winter Term (or Intersession) December 17, 2012 – January 11, 2013
Enrollment deadline: December 14, 2012 at 12 non EST
Courses Offered and Cost
You may take one or two courses during the term. Click here for a list of courses offered. The cost is $120 per credit hour or $360 for a 3-credit hour course and $480 for a 4-credit hour course. Note: The cost does not include books. New students are required to fill out the application form. A non-refundable application processing fee of $25 will be charged to new students.
Students must pay the full balance before they are enrolled. The enrollment deadline is Friday, December 14, 2012 at 12 noon EST. Given the low cost of the classes, students may not apply financial aid to the cost of the courses. All courses must be paid for immediately with a credit card.
Students need to be self-motivated and able to complete assignments by course deadlines. Students taking two classes should realize that the time commitment is equivalent to more than a full-time job. Our instructors are encouraged to help their students learn new concepts and principles in a meaningful way. Our instructors are passionate about their subjects and want each student to feel the same way.
