Master
Promissory Note - The Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory
Note (MPN) is a legal document listing the terms and conditions
under which you repay the loan. As of 7/1/2000, the borrower
can sign one MPN, one time, which remains in force and effect
for ten (10) years. The student can them make annual requests
for loan funds against the original MPN using a Loan Amount
Request Form.
Loan Request Form - The student uses this form to indicate
to Brewton-Parker College how much loan money he or she
wishes to borrow for the semester or the year.
Entrance
Interview – Federal regulations require all first-time
Federal Stafford Loan borrowers to participate in Stafford
Entrance Loan Counseling before receiving the first disbursement
of your loan proceeds. This process informs the student
of his or her rights and responsibilities in borrowing a
loan. After clicking on the entrance interview link, please
read the information on the next page and then choose Georgia
at the bottom of the page to begin. If you complete all
of the steps, Brewton-Parker will be notified that you have
completed your entrance interview requirements.
Online
Exit Interview – Federal regulations require all
student loan borrowers to participate in Stafford Exit Loan
Counseling whenever you drop below half-time enrollment
status, withdraw, or graduate. This process explains to
the student the repayment process. After clicking on the
entrance interview link, please read the information on
the next page and then choose Georgia at the bottom of the
page to begin. If you complete all of the steps, Brewton-Parker
will be notified that you have completed your entrance interview
requirements.
Loan
Cancellation – The student uses this form to cancel
a loan that he or she may have borrowed for the current
semester.
PLUS
Pre-Approval and Application - Parents who are unsure
if their credit is sufficient to qualify to borrow funds
to help pay for their son or daughter’s college education
need to complete this document and return it to the Financial
Aid Office. We will receive approval or denial from the
lender within 48 hours.
