THE INSTITUTION
 Brewton-Parker College is a Georgia Baptist college located in Mount Vernon, GA. The college has a rich heritage of strong academic programs in an unapologetically Christian environment. Head Women’s Soccer Coach (Full-Time)

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Athletic Director, the Head Women’s Coach position is a full-time 12 month position. Brewton-Parker, a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference, is an NAIA Division I institution located in Mt. Vernon, GA. Coach is responsible for all aspects of the development of our intercollegiate women’s soccer program, including but not limited to: coaching, including recruiting/retention of qualified student-athletes, scheduling, budget management, maintaining student eligibility and academic progress, discipleship of student-athletes, and public relations for each program in accordance with NAIA regulations, camps, building community support for the program, and knowing applicable NAIA rules. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred
  • USSF license or NSCAA coaching diploma
  • Previous successful coaching on the college level is required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications, fund raising, event planning and camps, and financial management
  • Able to work weekends/evenings and travel
  • Demonstrated commitment to or experience working with diverse populations

Head Women's Volleyball Coach Full-Time

Position Summary:

Brewton-Parker College is searching a full-time Head Women's Volleyball Coach. Located in Mt.Vernon, GA, BPC is a four-year Christian university affiliated with the Georgia Baptist Convention. BPC is a member of the NAIA and is committed to Christ-centered intercollegiate athletics.

Requirements for occupation:

  • Personal Statement of Faith // Testimony
  • Recommendation of character and ability
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Playing or Coaching experience preferred
  • Interview with Athletic Director
  • Resume with Letter of Interest

Masters degree and previous experience is preferred. Candidate must be a professing Christian and submit an application, letter of interest, resume, and a faith testimony that includes a personal philosophy of Christ-centered intercollegiate athletics.

Building Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

This is a full time position reporting to the director of Plant Operations and is responsible for performing a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services.

Responsibilities & Duties

Working knowledge and workmanship is required in the following areas:

  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills required
  • Perform work on special projects as assigned;
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on facility equipment and grounds.
  • Ability and initiative to work under general supervision
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.

 

Qualifications

This position requires a high school diploma/GED and 2-5 years of maintenance experience.  Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
