Programmer/Analyst
The Programmer/Analyst works under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for the oversight of the college’s administrative data processing system AIMS. This position requires extensive foundational knowledge in programming database systems to produce reports, interface with other college systems, and data structure modifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Programming or related field. Must have good communication skills, relationship-building skills, analytical problem-solving skills, and knowledge of database system structures and programming languages. Preference will be given to those candidates with previous experience in SQL, IBM Universe, and Pick language.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- manage the administrative data processing system;
- generate system reports as needed;
- install hardware and software as needed;
- analyze problem situations and provide solutions as they arise;
- set up new users as they come on line;
- make recommendations for upgrades of equipment and software as needed;
- assist users with training and problems as needed; and
- perform other duties as assigned by the CIO.

Dean of External Programs
DESCRIPTION:
This is a full time position working under the direction of the Vice President of Enrollment Services and manages and supervises department functions and responsibilities; assumes responsibility for planning, assigning and reviewing work of subordinates under direction; assumes responsibility for planning and recommending general departmental responsibilities as directed; exercises discretion and independent judgment with authority to make important decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- a master’s degree required, PhD preferred.
- five (5) years experience in higher education at the administration or faculty level preferred;
- must be able to demonstrate a high level of conceptual and strategic thinking to establish budgets, goals, objectives, activities, policies and procedures;
- must have proven experience in a progressively responsible capacity in an education environment directing college enrollment, operations, or non-traditional adult learning programs;
- ability to effectively communicate in written and oral formats with campus and/or divisional personnel to direct operational activities;
- must possess the ability to convey a professional image, as well as, effectively represent the College as appropriate in its relationship with the business and government communities;
- willingness and ability to travel a necessity; and
- a commitment to undergraduate education, a Christian worldview and a sense of collegiality are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides effective and stimulating leadership to all personnel affiliated with the External Programs.
- Effectively manages by providing direct supervision, motivation, training and support to the directors and staff.
- Ensures that enrollment planning and implementation of strategies are consistent with the Mission of the College and serves to grow enrollment.
- Assists directors of the Enrollment Services Division in the annual development, implementation, and evaluation of managerial objectives for their respective areas.
- Promotes the efficiency of all enrollment services operations through the supervision of external budgets.
- Acts as advisor to the President, Provost and Vice President of Enrollment Services in all enrollment services matters.
- Ensures that all pertinent policies established by the Board of Trustees, the College, the President, the Administrative Council and the Faculty Assembly are implemented and complied with by personnel in the External Programs.
- Keeps the President, the Vice President of Enrollment Services, the Administrative Council and the Faculty Assembly advised of all significant current problems or conditions affecting enrollment and makes appropriate recommendations for correction or improvement.
- Provides input to the President, the Administrative Council and the Faculty Assembly for improvement of campus grounds, buildings and physical facilities, insofar as these affect the operational efficiency of the External Programs and the welfare of the faculty and students.
- Promotes cooperative relations with the community; the general public; other universities; community colleges; churches; and elementary, middle and secondary schools.
- Ensures, through personal leadership example and supervision, that all personnel and activities of the External Programs project a favorable image of the College upon staff, student body, faculty and the general public.
- Coordinates enrollment services activities, functions and operations with the Divisions of Academic Affairs, Student Life, Finance and Facilities and Institutional Advancement.
- Supervises the development and modification of job descriptions, training and cross training and personnel deployment of all staff employees in the External Programs.
- Assists the Registrar in planning and coordinating commencements.
- Influences the constituents of the College community toward greater sensitivity to opinions, needs and concerns of students.
- Collaborates with the Vice President of Enrollment Services and the Director of Marketing to supervise marketing activities and the development of all publications proposed for printing and distribution by the External Programs.
- Evaluates the performance of each member of the enrollment services staff in terms of program goal achievement and personal development.
- Coordinates with the Provost in evaluating the offering of courses for academic credit in non-traditional formats to ensure maintenance of academic standards.
- Collaborates with site Directors, the Provost and main campus faculty chairs to ensure highly qualified instructors are hired to teach courses.
- Assists in instructor classroom observations and evaluations and provides feedback to instructor, Director and Provost.
- Ensures support services of Enrollment Services to off-campus sites.

MAINTENANCE/CUSTODIAN FOR LIBERTY CENTER
Hinesville GA
The Maintenance/Custodian works under direct supervision of the Director of the Liberty Center and assumes responsibility for routine tasks using basic skills and established procedures; demonstrates effective job knowledge; demonstrates initiative and motivation in performance of job responsibilities. The Maintenance/Custodian shall:
- provide and promote a campus atmosphere of pride in custodial and building maintenance duties by:
- being responsible for general cleaning of entire building which may include the common areas, halls, restrooms, break rooms, auditorium, labs & classrooms, office areas and other areas deemed appropriate by the site director;
- maintaining proper inventory of all supplies and equipment;
- assisting in designing and implementing a preventative building maintenance program;
- providing knowledge and workmanship to execute minor construction and repairs as needed; and
- being responsible for monthly fire/safety inspection as well as maintaining all fire safety equipment and yearly fire extinguisher and alarm system certifications.
- provide and promote a campus atmosphere of ground beautification by:
- being responsible for ground beautification and upkeep which includes mowing and edging the campus and the watering, fertilizing, and trimming of bushes and flowers;
- maintaining all outdoor buildings and sheds;
- providing trash pick up and disposal; and
- maintaining and servicing the lawn mowers and all other grounds equipment.
- maintain a well groomed appearance with appropriate work attire;
- must be able to lift 50 lbs.; and
- perform other duties as requested by the Director of the Liberty Center, the Director of Plant Operations, or other executive staff.

Staff Accompanist
DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include teaching class piano, accompanying for applied lessons and recitals, and possibly some ensemble accompanying. Separate compensation is provided for classes and lessons, but no benefits are included.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s is desirable. Brewton-Parker College is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Georgia Baptist Convention and located in southeast Georgia.

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours or 30-quarter graduate hours in the teaching discipline. Teaching experience is highly preferred. Applicant must be willing to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses. Knowledge and use of blackboard or other online learning platforms and synchronous learning tools highly desirable.
Contracts are for 8 weeks or 16 weeks; renewable upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance.
