BPC Welcomes Organist J. Edward Hulsey

MOUNT VERNON— The Honorable J. Edward Hulsey, organist from Tallapoosa, Ga., will perform a concert on Friday, May 4, in Saliba Chapel on the Mount Vernon campus.

Hulsey’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Hulsey is a graduate of West Georgia College and Samford University. He studied organ performance under Enid Newman, Sara Calhoun, and Dr. Robert M. Coe.

Hulsey served as organist at Tallapoosa Presbyterian Church from 1989 to 2006 and at First Baptist Church of Tallapoosa from 2006 to the present. Hulsey is the probate court judge for Haralson County.

Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia.
