Homecoming activities highlight busy week at BPC Homecoming activities at Brewton-Parker College begin in
earnest Tuesday, Jan. 18, and continue through Saturday,
Jan. 22, announced Michael Aoa, director of student activities.
The Kappa Lil' Sisters' Bachelor Auction is Tuesday night
in the Gilder Recital Hall of the Miller Music Building,
the same site for Wednesday night's Phi Omega Womanless
Beauty Pageant that starts at 8.
The pageant was rescheduled from Thursday because of a
conflict with Brewton-Parker's basketball doubleheader
against Shorter College that begins at 6 p.m. with the
women's game and concludes with the 8 p.m. men's contest.
On Friday, the Baptist Student Union sponsors the "Dunk
Your Resident Assistant" booth outside the Snooks
Student Activities Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dodgeball
competition will be in Gillis Gymnasium starting at 8 p.m.
Saturday's events include the basketball doubleheader
against Allen University (S.C.), with the crowning of the
Homecoming queen and king and naming of class favorites
between games. The women's contest begins the doubleheader
at 3 p.m., followed by the ceremony and the men's game.
The traditional Homecoming dance concludes events starting
at 8:30 p.m. and running until midnight in Parker Gymnasium.
