Dublin won the championship match for the event, which drew 14 teams from area grade schools. Caraballo is teaching fifth grade at Sally D. Meadows Elementary School in Vidalia, and she and Mims conducted one semifinal match. Anna Helms, another BPC graduate, was a moderator and senior Holly Rentz was the timekeeper in the other semifinal, while other students in Brewton-Parker's Education Division served as moderators and timekeepers in the preliminary rounds.
