Medieval Dinner planned for Dec. 10 at BPC
The Brewton-Parker College Division of Arts and Letters will be having a Winter Solstice Medieval Dinner Celebration
on Saturday, Dec. 10, announced Dr. Ruth Ellen Porter, division chair.
The dinner begins at 5 p.m. and will be in the Briscoe Center on Highway 280, across from the main campus in Mount Vernon. The public is invited to attend.
The menu will feature authentic Medieval-type foods including roasted meats, a variety of breads and salads, fruits and berries, barley stew, and non-alcoholic wassail. Medieval dress is encouraged.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students. For tickets, contact Dr. Thomas Brucie, assistant rprofessor of English in the Arts and Letters Division, at 583-3104. Proceeds will help raise seed money for the Georgia Philological Association.
