Dr. Bill Faw, psychology professor at BPC and dean of External Programs, discusses his summer trip to England. |
MOUNT VERNON—Faculty and staff were treated to a complimentary Fall Faculty and Staff Banquet, sponsored by ARAMARK, the college’s dining services provider Aug. 17 in the residential restaurant. The annual banquet featured the introductions of new faculty and staff members and special presentations by two faculty members on their exciting summer excursions.
Dr. Bill Faw, a professor of psychology and dean of External Programs, shared a few highlights from his trip to England in June. While at Oxford, he made a presentation at Oxford University (Oxford, England) on alexithymia, a condition by which certain persons are unable to get in touch with their true emotional state. He added that one of his favorite parts of the 10-day trip was visiting Stonehenge on the day of the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.

- Academic Affairs: Mary Ann Birris, Jennifer Blaylock, Bobby Braddy, Camille Castorina, Evelyn Clark, Bryan Cribb, Chastity Davis, Peter Dees, Denise Morrell, George Mosley, Julie Tiu, Harry Vogel and Mary Waalkes.

- Church Relations: Peter Anthony, Reco Dawson and Andrew Gernatt.
- Enrollment Services: Kelley Arnold, Norma Beaird, Jeremiah Curtis, Karl Hay, Taylor Hereford, Sandra Jenkins, Carrie Myles, Carla Ostrander, Bryan Sage, Roslyn Scott and G.J. Williams.
- President: Rep. Terry Coleman (D-Eastman)
