MOUNT VERNON—Freshman Talesha Noble of Atlanta was the winner of the iPod giveaway earlier this month sponsored by the Brewton-Parker College Campus Store. Noble, an early childhood education major, was surprised by campus store manager Lynn Addison Aug. 31, with a new iPod. Noble’s purchase in the campus store was entered into a campus-wide drawing of all campus purchases made in the store between the beginning of book reservations in July through Thursday, Aug. 31. Noble’s textbook purchase entry was the randomly selected winner, Addison said. Noble, a native of Jamaica, said she’s never used an iPod but is excited about learning how to download her favorite music onto her new prize.
