MOUNT VERNON—The Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) at Brewton-Parker College hosted a hoedown fundraiser Oct. 20 at Brady Farms in Soperton. More than 30 BPC students enjoyed country music, skits, raffle games, prizes, chili and cornbread, square dancing and hay rides.
“The reason for hosting the hoedown was so that we could raise money for some of our mission trips for the years to come,” said Glenn Wallace, student campus minister.
BCM at BPC has organized several local mission trips in the past year, including a recent weekend trip to Savannah.
