Brewton-Parker students perform in Oct. 20 recital
MOUNT VERNON—Three Brewton-Parker College students performed in the Oct. 20 Student Recital in Gilder Recital Hall on the Mount Vernon campus. Those performing were Senior Brandon Pafford, from left, Freshman Cindy Rollins and Junior Jared Register. Pafford, pianist, a student of Dr. Pierce Dickens, played Rachmaninoff’s “Prelude, Op.23, No.5.” Rollins, soprano, a student of Professor Stephanie Fort, sang Aaron Copland’s “Simple Gifts.” Register, pianist and baritone, a student of Dr. Dickens and Dr. Ben Caston, played Mozart’s “Sonata in E-Flat, K. 282” and then sang “Leave Me, Loathsome Light” by G.F.
