Pianist Brandon Pafford gives Senior Recital

MOUNT VERNON—Brandon Marshall Pafford, a pianist and a Brewton-Parker College senior, performed in his Senior Recital Friday, April 13 in Gilder Recital Hall on the Mount Vernon campus. The recital was presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the bachelor of music degree with a major in performance and a primary concentration in piano.
Pafford’s program included, but was not limited to, Chopin’s “Ballade in A-flat, Op. 47, No. 3” and Mozart’s “Allegro”, “Romanze” and “Rondo” from “Concerto No. 20 in D, KV 466”.
A reception in Pafford’s honor was held in the Briscoe Center following the evening performance. Pafford is a student in the studio of BPC’s Dr. Pierce Dickens, associate professor of music and Quinellle McRae Sikes Professor of Piano.
