Baron Ringers give spring concert April 12

MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Baron Ringers, under the direction of Dr. Ben Caston, assistant professor of music, gave a spring concert April 12 in the Gilder Recital Hall on the Mount Vernon campus. The evening performance included a range of secular and religious pieces, including a duet between the Baron Ringers and accomplished student flutist Elizabeth Nichols. Ensemble membership includes students Katelyn Pierce, Jared Register, Kimberly Knighton, Kristi Jenkins, Cindy Rollins, Krista Vickery, Robert Hilton, Jonathan Brown, Matthew Barlow, Carlos Ortiz, Rodney Schramm and Jacob Knighton. The last concert of the spring 2007 semester will be held Thursday, April 26 when the college’s Concert Choir will perform in Saliba Chapel at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
