BPC alumni invited to The Rick and Bubba Code signing in Douglas

MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Office of Alumni Relations invite alumni and friends to join BPC representatives at Covenant Christian Church in Douglas, Ga. Saturday, June 16 for a book signing of the newest book by New York Times best-selling authors and “zany” radio hosts Rick Burgess and Bill “Bubba” Bussey, The Rick & Bubba Code (Thomas Nelson, 2007).

Alumni Seal

In this follow up to their first book Rick and Bubba’s Expert Guide to God, Country, Family and Anything Else We Can Think Of, “the two sexiest fat men alive” promise to “unlock the mysteries of the universe”, including secrets to “male hygiene, babysitting, religion, romance, politics, marriage or physical fitness.”

Burgess and Bussey host the daily morning radio show, The Rick & Bubba Show, which is nationally syndicated and heard in 24 markets and seven states throughout the Southeast. Millons of “Rick & Bubba Show” fans tune in daily to hear these hilarious hosts who are bold in their Christian faith.

College representatives and new Director of Alumni Relations Shannon Bull will be on hand at the church Saturday supporting the authors on this leg of their whirlwind book tour across the Southeast. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and wrap up at 8 p.m.

“This will be a great opportunity for you to get your copy of The Rick and Bubba Code, meet these nationally known Christian radio hosts/authors and reconnect with your alma mater,” said Bull. “So, be sure to stop by and see us!”

The 224-page soft cover book is $16.99 and includes an “All New ‘Best of Rick & Bubba’ CD. Books will be available for purchase from the Brewton-Parker College campus store representatives at the event.
