MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College (BPC) held its second Early Registration Day (ERD) for the Fall 2007 semester Saturday, June 9 on its Mount Vernon campus. The college will host another ERD July 20, where Director of Admissions Bryan Sage hopes for the “same excitement” they saw the previous Saturday.
“We had a great day,” said Sage. “Fifteen students attended and participated in the day’s events. The weather was beautiful and the applicants were excited to enroll for their fall classes. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.”
Sage explains the college is “ahead” in fall applications and admitted students, and says the next registration day will be just as much fun as the last for incoming students.
“We have a wonderful group of incoming freshmen, and I am anticipating an exciting year ahead. Student Affairs has done a wonderful job placing students in the residential halls and roommates have already been in contact with each other, getting acquainted in enough time for Fall Orientation,” said Sage.
Fall Orientation 2007 will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22 through Sunday, Aug. 26. Mount Vernon classes begin Monday, Aug. 27.
