MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s chapel services are now being held in the Gillis Gym inside the Snooks Student Activities Center. The location may have changed, but the services still provide students and faculty and staff with the same blessing of worship with peers through song and an inspirational message.

The first chapel in this building brought Rev. Jeff LeBorg, pastor of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins, Oct. 30. Rev. LeBorg presented a message concerning the importance of academics versus the grave importance of God’s will for one’s life.
Attendees were led in worship by the musical talent of BPC’s new ladies’ trio, Trejito, with members sophomore Amanda Cann, freshman Joy Dawson and sophomore Mandy Madson.
“While this was only our second performance, I loved every minute of it,” said Cann. “We still have a lot to improve upon, but I feel like our performance went extremely well.”
Accompanying these ladies was the BPC Jazz Combo directed by Professor Armenio Suzano.
The Nov. 6 chapel was led by students in the Ministerial Association. Steven Dressen, a senior, brought the message. Senior Cary Wilson and junior Ryan McWhorter led the worship in music.
Brewton-Parker College is the only four-year, accredited Christian college in south Georgia.
