Blessed is the ‘Gra-feet-i’

MOUNT VERNON—Sophomore Paul Taylor recently created the artwork behind him on the panel separating the new coffee shop and its construction from the lobby of the Phillips Student Center on the Mount Vernon campus. The “graffiti” includes the passage, “Blessed are the feet.” which the Christianity major says represents God’s call on Christians’ lives to “go and serve”. He thanks Campus Store Manager Lynn Addison and Assistant Director of Plant Operations Ben Hamilton for permission to create the work. Prof. Zeke Addison provided the chalk. The artwork has since been covered over by external wall material for the new coffee shop. Cabinets and display cases were preliminarily installed last week. (Photo by Kelley M. Arnold)
