Community invited to BPC’s Lyric Theatre April 11-12
MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Division of Music invites the community to attend an evening of Lyric Theatre with their talented students either Friday, April 11 or Saturday, April 12 beginning at 7 p.m.
The evening will feature a children’s opera, “Sid the Serpent Who Wanted to Sing” by Malcolm Fox. After an intermission, selections for more mature audiences will be presented, including scenes from “South Pacific”, “The Old Maid and The Thief” and the BPC Concert Choir performing scenes from Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide”.
