Coach Brant steps down to take head coaching position with Robert Toombs Christian Academy in Vidalia

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, July 2, 2008:

STATEMENT FROM OFFICE OF COLLEGE ADVANCEMENT

from Doug Baird, Vice President for College Advancement:

"Brewton-Parker College would like to express best wishes to Coach Hayne Brant as he takes on a position of Head Baseball Coach for Robert Toombs Christian Academy. Coach Brant resigned, stating the primary reason for leaving Brewton-Parker College was to be able to spend more quality time with his family.

Coach Hayne Brant served Brewton-Parker College in keeping with the highest standards and he truly will be missed. Currently Brewton-Parker College Administration is forming an official search committee that will aggressively seek out the highest qualified candidate to lead our baseball team. It is our goal to not only find the highest qualified applicant but best suited to serve Brewton-Parker College."
