Education Division chair Dr. David Moffett, Professor Barbara Reid, and Dr. Yunfang (Molly) Zhou presented their paper entitled, “Student Teacher Candidates' Effect on Student Learning as Measured Through Action Research Projects.” Professors Jo-ne Bourassa, Skye Jordan and Barbara Reid presented their paper on “The Use of Collaboration to Scaffold Assessments.”
“The Education Division’s innovative work on its assessment system was recognized by educational researchers across Georgia through their inviting BPC Education faculty to present papers reflective of unit measurement efforts,” Moffett said.
Twenty-five colleges and universities from Georgia and beyond were represented at the annual meeting where current and future issues in education were featured. Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia.
