BPC service awards given to staff, professors

The Brewton-Parker College Faculty-Staff Appreciation Dinner was held Monday, April 20 in the Gillis Gym on the Mount Vernon campus.

comprised of the following staff members: Chasity Davis, Beth Griffin, Jennifer Blaylock, Bob Sanford, Carla Ostrander, Karen Mock and Evelyn Carpenter.

             

Special awards were given to two top employees. The Bryan E. Rampey Faculty Member of the Year was presented to Prof. Vance Rhoades. Prof. Rhoades also celebrated 30 years with the college this year. Lynn Jackson, administrative assistant to the Provost, was awarded the Staff Member of the Year award.

             

Professor Margaret Haines was honored for 20 years of service to BPC. She also announced her retirement during the dinner. She has been a teacher for 59 years. She teaches mathematics at BPC.

             

The following BPC employees were also recognized for service to BPC.
