During the week of March 23 through March 27, Brewton-Parker College’s Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) hosted Missions Week on the Mount Vernon campus and surrounding community. Throughout this week, students were encouraged to practice humility and servitude.

Students participated in activities such as picking up garbage around campus, preparing the numerous benches around campus for a new coat of paint, and the opportunity to worship and take the Lord’s Supper with fellow students.
On Wednesday, March 25, students met in the Briscoe Center for a Communion service. During the special services, students had their feet washed to symbolize humility, ate and worshipped and took the Last Supper as the Disciples of Jesus would have done.
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia. Registration for summer and fall classes is going on now. Call the Office of Admissions at 912-583-3263 for more information. Apply online at www.bpc.edu.
