MOUNT VERNON—“The Rocket Blast-off was once again a wonderful event,” said Dr. Christopher Jones, chemistry professor and organizer of the annual event on the Mount Vernon campus Sept. 26. “The kids were enthusiastic about building rockets. All rockets launched successfully, including the much larger and high-flying rockets built by the college students.”
BPC students in the Division of Mathematics & Natural Sciences helped local kids build launch-able rockets. To learn more about the event, contact Dr. Jones at 912-583-3142.
