Brewton-Parker to offer Conversational Chinese to community

MOUNT VERNON –Thanks to a visiting professor from Zhoukou Normal University in China, Brewton-Parker College will offer a beginning conversational Chinese language class to the community Monday nights this fall at 6:30 p.m.
The 15-week class (ML100 Chinese) begins Monday, August 30. Anyone interested in joining the class, should contact the Office of Admissions at 912-583-3265 to enroll. Cost is $150 for non-credit (community) enrollment.
Prof. Jun (Robert) Zhao joins three students from the Chinese university who will study at the college for the year: Yadi (Diane) Liu, Lu (Toki) Li, and Liuqian (Jennifer) Zhang. Prof. Zhao will also teach conversational Chinese during daytime class hours.
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia. With its main campus located in Mount Vernon, the college also offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees at its three external sites in Newnan, Norman Park and Liberty County.
