Brewton-Parker to offer business courses at GMC-Valdosta
MOUNT VERNON—Brewton Parker College of Mount Vernon and Newnan will soon offer courses at the Valdosta campus of Georgia Military College at 4201 North Forrest Street Extension, said BPC Vice President for Enrollment Services Jim Beall.
This is the first time the four-year, Christian college affiliated with the Georgia Baptist Convention has offered classes in Valdosta, Beall added.
BPC entered into an articulation agreement with Georgia Military College-Valdosta that would allow students at GMC, a two year institution, to continue their education by completing a bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in management from Brewton-Parker. BPC will offer their courses on-site at the GMC-Valdosta campus. Classes will be held in the evenings. Some businesses courses are also offered online.
“We are excited to partner with BPC in this way,” said Leslie Hafer, director of GMC Valdosta campus. “We believe this agreement will provide additional opportunities for our graduates and help more students earn their degree.”
Students interested in learning more about these courses, and registering for classes, should contact Brewton-Parker College’s Office of Admissions at 912-583-3265 or call toll free at 1-800-342-1087 ext. 3265. BPC is on the web at www.bpc.edu.
Coursework is scheduled to begin August 23.
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia. With its main campus located in Mount Vernon, the college also offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees at its external site in Newnan.
