BPC Women’s Fellowship announces 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off
MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, GA, will host its 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off Saturday, Oct. 23. Team recruiting is going on now. Contact Jennifer Blaylock or Jackie Smith for more information, 912-583-3210, jasmith@bpc.edu.
Last year’s winner among 15 contestants was Stuckey Baptist Church. Join us to Cast Your Vote for the Best Chili in the Surrounding Area!
Activities include Live Local Entertainment by Carmela Williams and others, Kiddie Rides, Face Painting, Carnival Games and Moonwalk, Historic Village, Paddle Boats on Jones Lake, Celebrity Judges, Concessions by ARAMARK, Fred Stokes Foods and SGA.
Taste testing begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Winners are announced at 2 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to eat lakeside.

All proceeds will benefit the purchase of a new electronic sign for the campus. This fundraiser is coordinated by the BPC Women’s Fellowship.
