MOUNT VERNON—The Brewton-Parker College family is invited to drop by the Phillips Student Center lobby Thursday, March 25 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to meet with fellow students, faculty and staff representing their home country and culture.
Twenty-two international students from 12 countries will celebrate International Culture Day on campus with displays and short presentations, and it is a chance for the BPC family to take a “short trip around the world,” said Sandra Clay, director of International Student Services and organizer of the event.
Countries represented by students, faculty and staff include Argentina, Cameroon, Canada, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, England, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Mexico, Montenegro, Nigeria, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad/Tobago.
