BPC Music presents 13 in Student Recital

MOUNT VERNON—Thirteen Brewton-Parker College students performed in a Student Recital Friday, April 23 in Gilder Recital Hall on the Mount Vernon campus.
Students and the piece they performed were presented in the following order:

| BPC Sophomore Elijah Cliett, tenor, performs “Du Bist Wie Eine Blume” by Schumann in the April 23 Student Recital. |
Freshman Nikki Cross, soprano, a B.M. Education major of the studio of Elizabeth Zettler, performed “Music, When the Soft Voices Die” by Roger Quilter. Freshman Summer LaFavor, soprano, a B.M. Education major in the studio of Jamie White, performed “Non Posso Disperar by Giovanni Bononcini. Sophomore Clint Oliver, baritone and a B.M. Church Music major in the studio of Jamie White, performed “The Vagabond” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Sophomore Kara Norris, a soprano and B.M. Performance major in the studio of Jamie White, performed “Ach Ich Fuhl’s” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Junior Albert Bussey, trombone, B.M. Education major in the studio of Glenn Eernisse, performed “Sonatina, Allegro motto” by Robert W. Jones. Sophomore Elijah Cliett, tenor, B.A. Music in the studio of Elizabeth Zettler, performed “Du Bist Wie Eine Blume” by Robert Schumann.
Sophomore Caroline Foster, soprano, B.M. Education major in the studio of Jamie White, performed “When I Have Sung My Songs” by Ernest Charles. Senior Steven Hopper, bass, B.M. Education in the studio of Jamie White, performed “Si mes vers avaient des ailes” by Raynaldo Hahn. Freshman Bryn Silvernail, piano, a B.M. Education major in the studio of Kathy Duren, performed “Invention 14” by Johann Sebastian Bach. Junior Brett Boggus, baritone, a B.M. Church Music in the studio of Jamie White, performed “There’s Non to Soothe” arr. by Benjamin Britten.
Freshman Chesley Woods, French horn, a B.A. Music major in the studio of Chris Probst, performed “Third; Allegro” from “Horn Concerto No. 3 in E flat major, K. 447” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Sophomore Mystie Bennett, mezzo-soprano, a B.M. Education in the studio of Elizabeth Zettler, performed “O Mio Babbino Caro” by Giacomo Puccini. Senior Brittany Black, piano, a B.M. Education major in the studio of Kathy Duren, performed “Mognon” from “Album from the Young” by Robert Schumann.
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college in south Georgia.
