MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Athletics Department led Chapel Oct. 28 and included a skit, a student testimony and a message by Barons Baseball player, Ross Jenkins, who urged his peers to “get your priorities in order,” with God being at the top of the list.
Senior Anthony Rivera, a member of the men’s soccer team, shared his testimony with his friends, how at the point in his life where he felt “everything was impossible”, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior, and now “God makes it possible”. Members of the Barons Athletics teams performed a skit based on 1 Cor. 15:33: “Do not be deceived: bad company corrupts good morals” (HCSB).
