Midnight Fright Pep Rally launches BPC Basketball Season
Chance to win $1,000 in Half-Court Shot Contest
Brewton-Parker College’s 2010-2011 Basketball Season begins this Thursday with a fun, family-friendly seasonal pep rally in the Gillis Gym.
The community is invited to come out in their best costume to welcome the Barons and Lady Barons Basketball teams and cheerleading squad at “Midnight Fright” Thursday, Oct. 28 at 9 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy several door prizes, games, a costume contest judged by the BPC Cheerleaders, a dunk contest by the BPC basketball teams, and a half court-shot contest for anyone who has never played college athletics. The winner of the half court-shot contest walks away with $1,000!
The Lady Barons Volleyball team faces Fort Valley State at 7 p.m. in the gym and Midnight Fright follows at 9 p.m. The events are free and open to the public.
BPC Students are encouraged to stay following the pep rally for a dance in the Barons Den.
