MOUNT VERNON— Brewton-Parker College held its annual Back to School Bash on Monday, September 20 in the Cyber Café located in the Phillips Student Center on the Mount Vernon campus.
This event allows local and area churches the opportunity to welcome new and returning students to campus, and in turn, promote their ministries and invite students to worship with their congregations on Sunday mornings.
According to Norman Winter, Vice President for College Advancement, “There is nothing like food to catch students eyes, and our area churches certainly showed their talents with all sorts of scrumptious desserts. It was so great to see these churches putting forth the effort to reach out to our students showing love and inviting them to be a part of their congregations.”
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited, four-year Christian college in South Georgia.
