MOUNT VERNON— Sign and Stamps Solutions of Vidalia expanded its business to Brewton-Parker College’s Mount Vernon campus, opening the doors of the new campus store, Campus Connection, Monday, August 15. The opening coincided with the beginning of the college’s Orientation/Baron Week.
Owned and operated by Wayne and Sheila Craft of Vidalia, the name Campus Connection stems from their desire to connect the community with Brewton-Parker.
“We are excited and thankful for the opportunity to partner with Brewton-Parker College and look forward to being involved with the administration, staff, students and the entire community,” said Wayne Craft. “We love what we do. I’m extremely excited about bringing it to BPC.”

The store will carry gifts, apparel, books and some school supplies. Just about everything in the store is customizable and open to personalization.
“Everything in our Vidalia store is available at BPC. You no longer have to go to Vidalia to order your merchandise,” said Wayne Craft. “We’re even offering an in-house copy service with a full-color set up. There are fees but we would keep those under what we would charge in Vidalia as a courtesy.”
The Baron Bucks charging system for BPC students has been discontinued, but Craft said he will soon offer a prepaid credit card system for parents and students to purchase in $50 and $100 increments. The store will also be outfitted with a student service section with several computers. This section is open for students to order books online or to create new designs on Sign & Stamps’ website: http://www.signandstampsolutions.com
Located in the Phillips Student Center in the former campus store, Campus Connection will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s hours will be posted.
The Crafts, along with the BPC family, invites the community to come out and see the new store and check out the campus. Former campus store employees James Winter and Yolanda Hernandez have been retained by the Crafts as well.
“Everyone in the area is welcome to come,” said Wayne Craft. “We’re here for all of Montgomery County.”
