BPC Cheerleading tryouts will be held August 15

MOUNT VERNON— The Brewton-Parker College Final Co-ed Competition Cheerleading Tryouts for the 2011-2012 season will be held Monday, August 15 at 8 a.m. in Gillis Gymnasium on the Mount Vernon campus.

Tryouts will include a cheer, jumps, tumbling, small dance routine, and an interview.

Cheer Camp is scheduled for August 15-21, so candidates are asked to come prepared to stay and participate if they make the squad.

Brewton-Parker College cheerleaders are eligible to receive scholarships.
