BPC seeks vendors for fall Lawn Sale
MOUNT VERNON— Brewton-Parker College’s Women’s Fellowship announces the date of its 2nd Annual BPC Lawn Sale. Vendors and bargain hunters are invited to participate Saturday, October 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of the campus, which fronts Highway 280.
The annual fundraiser raises money to support the fiscal costs associated with the BPC Chili Cook-off as well as give area residents a large public venue to sell their unwanted home and yard items. Arts and crafts vendors are also welcome.
“This year, we are extending the hours of the sale into the afternoon at the request of last year’s vendors,” said Sandra Clay, BPC Admissions Director. “Our first event was a tremendous success. We have a wonderful location to host this event thanks to the large open, grassy lawn and the prime placement on Highway 280 through town. This year’s event should be bigger and better!”
Booths, $20 each, are approximately 10-ft. by 10-ft. Participants are to bring their own tables and chairs. Set up is at 7 a.m. and the sale is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. Space fee will go toward the BPC fundraiser and seller keeps all income from sales. There will be no security for anyone setting up the night before.
To reserve your booth space, contact Jennifer Douglas (jdouglas@bpc.edu, 912-583-3213) or Kimberly Lajiness (klajiness@bpc.edu, 912-583-3255).
