BPC receives generous in-kind gift of campus paving

  Brewton-Parker College moved forward with a much-needed paving project behind Gates Hall this week thanks to the generosity of several businesses, which donated in-kind services, equipment and labor, said Interim Vice President for College Advancement Jessica James.

Daniell Baptist Campers lend a helping hand at BPC, in community

BPC seeks vendors for fall Lawn Sale


Brewton-Parker College’s Women’s Fellowship announces the date of its 2nd Annual BPC Lawn Sale. Vendors and bargain hunters are invited to participate Saturday, October 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of the campus, which fronts Highway 280.


BPC opens Novel Writing Workshop to community learners


Brewton-Parker College’s Division of Arts & Sciences will offer a Novel Writing Workshop on the Mount Vernon campus this fall. This evening class, CRW/ENG 350, is geared to community members interested in learning the techniques of writing a novel.


Baron Week activities announced

  Brewton-Parker College’s Baron Week, August 17-21, will welcome new students to campus while introducing them to Baron Life. This year’s theme is “The BPC Family Tree: The Difference is You!”

BPC to host New Student Registration August 6

  Brewton-Parker College's Mount Vernon campus will host New Student Registration Day for students who have been accepted to the college for the 2011-2012 Academic Year Saturday, August 6 beginning at 9 a.m.    

Dr. Mike Simoneaux accepts Brewton-Parker College presidency


Brewton-Parker College’s Board of Trustees named longtime Georgia Baptist Educator Dr. Mike Simoneaux as the college’s new president Thursday, July 21 by a unanimous vote.


BPC Cheerleading tryouts will be held August 15

  The Brewton-Parker College Final Co-ed Competition Cheerleading Tryouts for the 2011-2012 season will be held Monday, August 15 at 8 a.m. in Gillis Gymnasium on the Mount Vernon campus.

Johns brothers of Montgomery County sign to play with Barons Baseball


Brewton-Parker College (BPC) Baseball Head Coach Greg “Boo” Mullins signed two young men from Montgomery County who have played baseball on the same teams their entire lives. Brothers Brook and Tyler Johns of Montgomery County now look forward to continuing that tradition with the Barons this fall.
