MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College Young Alumni invites BPC faculty, staff, current students and alumni to Disney’s Night of Joy Friday and Saturday, Sept. 9-10, 2011. The Night of Joy is an annual contemporary Christian rock, pop and gospel concert series at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The top performers Friday night are Jeremy Camp, Newsboys and Skillet. MercyMe, Toby Mac and Jars of Clay will highlight Saturday night’s event.
“And, when you’re not rocking with the music, hop on Space Mountain, challenge your friends to a game at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and enjoy all the thrills and chills of your favorite rides until the next show begins,” explains Walt Disney World.
The park opens at 4 p.m. and concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.
The trip, if purchased as a current student or individual alumni, faculty or staff, costs $175. The package includes round-trip transportation to Disney from Mount Vernon, two nights at a Disney hotel, two nights of Night of Joy which includes tickets to Magic Kingdom and two t-shirts to be worn at the park both days. The only expense students and individuals traveling with BPC Young Alumni would incur is food costs.
Families are invited to purchase tickets and hotel room packages starting at $151.44 per person (for a family of four).
BPC Young Alumni is an outreach of the Office of Alumni Relations. The networking and social activity group encourages membership from current juniors and seniors as well as young alumni of the college, which is defined as students who graduated from the college 10 years ago or less (Class of 2011 to Class of 2001).
